Internship Opportunity:

YOUTH SERVICES LIBRARY CLERK/

LAKE VILLA DISTRICT LIBRARY

Seasonal Part Time (avg. 12 hrs/wk) unpaid

Seeking an individual with strong customer service and research skills who enjoys contact with people of all ages. Responsibilities will include identifying, locating and obtaining materials for patrons; accessing the online catalog, the Internet and databases; assisting patrons in using the Library catalog and computers; registering participants for youth programs – especially our Summer Reading Program.

Qualifications: Must be enrolled in Practicum classes. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children preferred. Creativity and sense of humor a plus.

Hours: M-W-F, 10-2
